Sophie

Sophie Pascoe was born 8th of January 1993. She grew up in Christchurch.
She had a normal child life but had a life changing moment.
At the age of seven years old, she was involved in a lawn  mower accident sophie was rushed to hospital.
Sophie had surgery for five hours the lawn mower had amputated her leg off.
She had a grandfather who inspired her to do swimming she had promised  her grandfather she would win a gold medal. Her grandfather had passed away.
She won three gold medals and one silver at Beijing in 2008.

She told her swimming coach she would like to be in the paralympics. She is inspiring lots and lots of people who have something wrong with them to never give up.
